How excited am I? I've just interviewed Veronica Richards about her writing story.
Read more here.
And if you fancy the sound of her awesome book, she has a sale on for the next 5 days, (from 30th June) starting @ $0.99/99p.

The World Wise Writers on Storyfinds
Ok, so Ro might have got the fabulous StoryFinds website to do a feature blog post about her up and coming promo for Fox Among Wolves (for 48 hours on 26th and 27th June it's FREE in the UK and the US). But she's not the only Storyfinds author. Check it out.
P.S. Sour Grapes? Moi? Nah. Bless her, she did manage to get a cheeky little mention in of all the wWw ladies, with links to their books, so mustn't grumble.

Slater read in 9 countries
Phew! What a weekend that was. My car broke badly (like new engine kinda badly) so I lost one of the days I was supposed to spend in glorious Wales. Finally got there to have a day of wall-to-wall rain - this is the Wales I remember! On the plus side, I typed up 13 thousand words on the next book, so it wasn't all bad.
All this while Slater was on a free promo. Do you have any idea how hard it is not to keep checking those stats every couple of minutes? Especially when it reaches that coveted #1 slot in 6 charts (in 3 different countries). Or when over 1100 people in 9 countries all download copies of your book.
And nothing quite describes the thrill when people buy the other 3 books in the series - presumably because they enjoyed (or liked the sound of) the free book they've just downloaded.
It's been a while since I did this - not sure if it will be the final version, but I'd love to hear your opinion on it.
Cheers Jacky xxx

Slater rocks the charts for the solstice
If you've never been to a Summer Solstice celebration, you can get a real feeling for what it might have been like eons ago by reading Slater's account of it.
FREE in the UK and FREE in the US. It's free everywhere else too as a number of Canadian, Australian, Indian, German, French, Spanish and Japanese readers have discovered.
For today and tomorrow, you can download this.
Thanks to my lovely UK fans, for putting him back in the number one spot in Blighty and a Special Thank You to so many Americans: he has finally made the number one slot across the pond (the USA and Canada). Well done, my boy.
My memories of a Summer Solstice at Stonehenge involve traffic queues, thousands of drunken hippies, snuggling into a corner by the burger van to try and keep warm, my dowsing crystal behaving strangely (just like it did in crop circles) and chatting to a couple of interesting Aussies.
The sunrise itself was a complete anti-climax, obscured by heavy clouds (however the sunset the night before was spectacular). But the real drawback for me had to be the crowds. Way too many people.
The following year, I celebrated the Solstices (Summer and Winter) at Avebury: altogether a much more intimate (and yet totally enthralling) experience. One year, I will get to do it at Glastonbury, but it always seems to coincide with Father's day. Funny, that!

Ro's Newsletter
This is now into it's third issue, but as usual, I've been very bad at the publicity thing. I've grabbed the cool picture of the 1st 2 issues - if you are interested you can read them in full by following the subscribe link and clicking on the View previous campaigns link.
