A few weeks ago, I'd never heard of a drabble. Now I'm hooked.
It's basically a complete story in 100 words (no more, no less). No mean feat, let me tell you.
You can check mine (and others) out here.

Book Hippo Featured Author
I'm pleased and proud to be a featured author on BookHippo, not once, but twice, for Archer and Twelve Days of Yule.
Thanks guys - all I need now is to get a coupla drabbles under my belt.
What's a drabble? I hear you say. A story in 100 words. You can read some here.
Such a thrill - thanks to these guys, 12 Days is now the #7 Hot new Release in Medieval Historical Romance. Archer is hanging on at #3 in Teen & Young Adult Medieval Fiction, with Geraint @ #6. What a great start to 2018!
Thanks to all the wonderful BookHippo Crew.

Old-fashioned recipes
I bet you've scoffed a few mince pies in the past month, and I'm pretty sure you know the name comes from the fact they originally used to be savoury pies made with minced meat.
But have you ever thought about trying one?
In Twelve Days of Yule, the heroine, Senna, makes batches of the things as part of her yuletide celebration - if you're curious to try it out, I have a recipe based on one of the original ones from the thirteenth century - are you brave/daft/curious enough to try it out?
If so, click here. And let me know how you get on with it.
