Next Friday, 31st Oct, is known as Halloween in several countries, but so many others have their own versions of a celebration where the veils between the worlds of the living and the dead thin. Any with Pagan heritage will be rooted in Samhain – the whole carved root vegetable lanterns thing, and many of the Latino countries celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the dead).
